Desyree is a trauma expert who specializes in treating complex trauma.  The focus of her clinical work is Identity Based Trauma (IBT).  After spending years and thousands of clinical hours searching for and not finding a framework for helping clients heal from IBT, Desyree developed a groundbreaking framework that has exploded worldwide.  

She uses this framework to successfully help clients in her practice. She also is committed to building an "IBT Army" to disrupt the systems responsible for IBT. Part of this work includes training other clinicians on how to use her IBT healing approach in their clinical practices.  

Desyree also is an expert on identity and its importance to both individuals and organizations. She educates fortune 500 companies in advertising, media, film, entertainment and technology on how identity impacts performance, company culture and branding. She is a diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) consultant who helps clients understand the impact of IBT. She also trains content creators on how brand identity can positively impact IBT.
